‘Tis the season for snowshoeing!

If you are a hiker – and enjoy the outdoors, but haven’t tried snowshoeing – it’s a GREAT way to get some exercise! This place we went last weekend, started nice and flat and then turned into a steady hill for 1.6 miles, so 3.2 round trip and we were making tracks in the fresh snow. It’s right off hwy 2 on the way to Steven’s Pass, the old cascade hwy. Of course there are other places you can go that don’t have you climbing the entire time – I can share those with you if you like, just let me know. Or – if you have been snowshoeing and have a great location – recommendation, we’d love to hear about it!

Trigger, Dale and myself. Being that I’m not much of a “planner” Dale is the one that organizes all our weekend outings.
